Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi there! I'm Grace, a current undergraduate junior studying International Business & Accounting, pursuing a career in public accountancy and CPA licensure.

I spend my time outside of academics as a student leader in the business community, as well as a TA for various accounting courses -- and I enjoy every second of it! Throughout my time at UCSD, I've found that the thing that brings me the most joy is using my passion for accounting and experiences from my own growth as an aspiring business professional to help others thrive. Above all, I love to teach, and hope to become a professor after spending some time in the accounting industry.

It may seem odd to be teaching soft skills, but I've realized that the skills that landed me the most success were the ones that I learned outside of classes -- things like learning how to talk to my professors and professionals, how to make eye contact and be confident while speaking, or how to make short conversations meaningful. Because I didn't have resources available to me about business or professionalism in high school, I felt behind, as I didn't start learning about these important skills until my sophomore year. That's why I'm teaching this class!
