S264: Special relativity and the universal speed limit in Splash Spring 2019 (Apr. 20, 2019)
Relativity gets tossed around a lot in science fiction and fantasy. But what does it mean to say "the faster you go, the slower time goes"? What are the practical applications of this, is the theory of relativity any more than just a theory? In this course we will get a quick introduction to Special Relativity and tackle classic problems including the muon problem and the twin paradox.
