What is Splash?

Splash is a one-day marathon of classes in a variety of subjects that is open to all students in grades 9-12. The classes you take are completely up to you as the goal of Splash is to get students excited about learning and help them explore new topics.

How do I register for Splash?

If you are a high school student, registration will begin in late April. If you are the parent of a high school student, you can create your own account by clicking here and we'll add you to our mailing list, but we would like for your child to complete their own application!

Splash Classes

Classes are taught by UCSD students and local community members. Our teachers create their own classes, which means every class will be led by someone excited about the topic. The classes are generally one hour long and may be lecture-style, hands-on, or discussion-based. The subject matter for classes ranges from casual hobbies to intensive academic subjects.

The cost for the program is $20. If you feel you cannot pay due to financial difficulties, you can fill out a Financial Aid Application when you register for Splash.
