Splash@UCSD 2021

What is Splash?

Splash@UCSD is an educational outreach program held by UCSD students through the Triton Engineering Student Council (TESC) that brings local high schoolers (grades 9-12) to experience UC San Diego for a weekend full of learning and engagement. Our core belief is that students should enjoy learning about topics they are most passionate and interested about.

This year, we are hosting Splash virtually as a way to provide the same core experience as in previous years! We allow students to choose from a variety of classes created by our own teachers who are current UCSD undergraduate and graduate students. We facilitate this passion for learning by allowing our teachers to create their own classes. The teachers are allowed to pick their own topic and create their own curriculum. As a result, the classes are filled with information the teachers are most passionate about and what students may find most interesting. Past classes included Neuroscience, Martial Arts, and even Interstellar War! Splash@UCSD would not be possible without the support of Learning Unlimited. Donate to LearningU today to help start new Splashes and provide support to existing ones across the country!
