Update: Teacher registration is now open until May 1. Student registration will open shortly afterward.

Splash is an event held by UCSD students that brings high schoolers to the UCSD campus for a day full of learning and engagement!

Our core belief is that students should enjoy learning about topics they are most passionate and interested about. We allow students to freely register and choose from a variety of classes created by our own teachers who are current UCSD undergraduate and graduate students. Some of these classes may be like your typical academic class, while others may be more engaging and hands on!

We facilitate this passion for learning by allowing our teachers to create their own classes. The teachers are allowed to pick their own topic and create their own curriculum. As a result, the classes are filled with information the teachers are most passionate about and what students may find most interesting! Last year’s classes included Neuroscience, Martial Arts, and even Interstellar War!

When: May 20, 2017. The entire program will run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Where: We are currently finalizing the location for Splash, but it will be located on the general UCSD campus! The final location will be updated on this page once we confirm all of the information.

Price: The entire program will cost $20, which also includes a t-shirt and lunch. There is also a financial aid waiver available for eligible students.

Teachers: Check out this page for more information on volunteering as a teacher. Registration is open now through May 1.

Students: If you are interested in attending Splash you can view more information on the program here. Registration will be coming early May with a deadline of mid May.

Parents: To create an atmosphere of independent learning, we ask all parents to not shadow their child throughout the event. Here are some adventures you can explore while your child is at Splash!

Other volunteers: Check back in early May.
